Bloom 2010

Ireland's largest gardening show "Bloom 2010" was recently held on the 3rd - 7th June 2010, in the Phoenix Park Dublin.  The garden show consisted of show gardens, floral displays and a large farmers market.  The show gardens are one of the main attractions to the Bloom show, with over 25 gardens on display.

This year the "Best in Category" award for large gardens has been won by Jane McCorkell with her "Rain Garden" for the SAP group.  The concept for Jane McCorkell's Rain Garden is water conservation, by using the correct materials and technology, Jane created a stunning garden,  whilst adapting to the needs of the environment.

One of the main materials used in the award winning garden is a natural paving product from McMonagle Stone called Mountcharles Sandstone.  The Mountcharles Sandstone paving is a beautiful natural riven sandstone with a smooth finish.
